
Being what is now known as a TDK* (or Third Culture Kid) I have frequented various airports in various countries. I have decided to narrow down my experiences from growing up to airports now. It is important to point out that my brief hasn’t changed dramatically - just its focus and direction has been narrowed down to one aspect of my growing up.
I find airports intriguing. Their transient and limbo-esque nature and the mixing pot of people it harbors are what interest me the most. I know that its a rich theme in terms of things that I can explore and though some things may be personal to me I’m sure that there will also be many topics that can be related to by a wider audience
